Midwest Karate - Based in Minneapolis, Sensei Fusaro is one of the highest ranking non - Japanese black belts in the world at 7th degree.  He began his study of karate in 1955 in Japan and has been a devoted karate-ka and instructor, under the guidance of Sensei Nishiyama.  

Midwest Karate Association of St. Paul - This organization is comprised of a dynamic husband and wife team ranking 6th and 5th degree black belts respectively.

Japan Karate Association of Iowa - Sensei Smaby is a police officer by day and no-nonsense karate instructor at night, whose focus is pressure points and practical application of karate.

American Amateur Karate Federation - The national governing body of traditional karate led by Sensei Nishiyama and based in Los Angeles.

    International

International Traditional Karate Federation - The International governing body of traditional karate.
